Is misandry the silent killer (of male identity) ? It's never mentioned, or so rarely as to be inconsequential. 'These days', however, the misogynist label flies with reckless abandon.

Both misandry and misogyny need to be condemned GB. These are also strong labels and in the case of misogyny, agreed, the term is too easily flung around.
As to killing male identity - well I don't like 'identity politics' and I think something more complex is going on here.
It's as if people don't want to let men be men and women be women. The modern day mindset in some quarters is of notion of 'equality' that goes beyond our common humanity, but rather makes, even demands, that everyone be the same in all respects and therefore interchangeable.
